Mason was an incredible rider and teacher. Don't let his young age of 24 years old fool you, the dude knows his stuff and trained with the best. It is almost as if his sled is a part of his body when he rides. He was very patient and helped dig my sled out many times when I got stuck. When trying to get through difficult tree sections, I often would get stuck and Mason was able to turn around, navigate back down through the trees, help dig me out and we would be on our way. I also learned the 'pin and wiggle' technique which came in very handy when working on my side-hilling. (after getting stuck...again) I came in a novice rider and by day three of the Level 1-2 skills clinic I was climbing up steep mountains and navigating routes that I would have never thought possible. I felt like I learned so much in only three days and while I have a lot more to learn, my confidence continued to build as the days went by. I did happen to break an A-arm hitting a hidden rock on the last day so be on the lookout for rocks! Mason really blew my mind by riding my sled 2 hrs back to the lodge on essentially one ski after that happened. It was quite the adventure and I am glad he was with me to deal with the problem.

I would highly recommend Limitless for those looking to take their skills to the next level. You come as a stranger, become friends and leave as family with this crew. Its a special place and not many like it exist. Go check it out and you can thank me later. 🙂
